We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager of Internal Audit to join or fast growing Treliant Advisory business. We are looking for individuals who seek exciting, long-term career challenges and have a genuine interest in the area of internal auditing.  Successful individuals in this field are self-motivated, possess strong communication and analytical skills, and enjoy a wide variety of work experiences and challenges. In this role he/she will be a key person helping us to expand our Consulting practice at Treliant.  

Key Responsibilities:

Treliant is currently seeking a Senior Manager of Internal Audit for our Corporate & Regulatory Investigations practice. In this exciting job he/she will:

  • Provide high quality, professional day-to-day execution of internal audit engagements and projects in line with firm risk management practices for the corporate & regulatory investigations services practice

  • Develop and lead audit programs, working papers, and internal audit reports

  • Assist in preparing risk assessments and annual audit plans for clients

  • Lead and mentor project teams focused on advisory projects and assist engagement management to successfully complete engagement objectives

  • Help identify performance improvement opportunities for clients and lead client presentations

  • Participate in firm go-to-market activities, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to the development of proposals specific to the financial services practice

  • Balance multiple projects and responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management
  • Initiate and develop relationships with working level of client team
  • Assist in the coaching, mentoring, and counselling of staff
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals; participate in marketing initiatives
  • Research market issues and identify market opportunities

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

 

  • Minimum of seven to ten years of experience performing internal or external audits within professional services compliance

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field; Master's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field with CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with auditing tools and other software 

  • Working knowledge of business processes

  • Demonstrated track record of leading project teams, developing new business, and development of proposals for financial services clients

  • Must be flexible with the travel requirements of client service projects
