LLC is seeking a Senior
Advisor - Business Developer to join its growing team in Washington, DC and
New York, NY. The Senior Advisor - Business Developer is responsible for management and support of the company’s sales, and business development
activities. They will work closely with Treliant leaders to grow, manage and
enhance new and existing client relationships. The ideal candidate will provide
responsive, collaborative and effective sales and client support, delivering
sales support, regular reporting and insightful analysis on the company’s
business development pipeline.
The Senior Advisor - Business Developer works closely
with Treliant executives and client delivery teams to develop sales strategies,
client briefing documents and related support that is critical to growing the
company’s sales pipeline. The ideal candidate is results-driven, motivated,
creative, insightful and a collegial business partner who enjoys client
interaction. The candidate will have strong written and verbal communication
skills, presentation skills, the ability to prioritize and react quickly to
business opportunities – all with an attention to detail and a strong focus on
the client.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify and win executable business by applying
expertise across the business development life cycle, from opportunity
identification through shaping and capture to proposal and contract start-up.
- Drive market-based competitive intelligence, market
assessments, client assessments, and strategic planning efforts in support of
expanding current and future markets.
- Partner
with senior leadership in the creation and delivery of proposals /
presentations for new and existing clients.
- Team with Treliant leadership in sales presentations and conduct
face-to-face meetings with potential prospects and existing clients.
- Negotiate and participate in pricing strategy to make Treliant
competitive.
- Review and
prepare compelling client RFPs which will differentiate Treliant, having qualified and carefully researched the opportunity and its potential.
- Work with local office service line leaders to maximize
cross-selling opportunities.
- In partnership with Marketing, execute events and other
outreach campaigns in order to identify and engage targets; building Treliant
brand in the marketplace.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships; keeping business
leadership informed, and engage in advancing acquisition best practices.
- Implement the use of best practice
sales methodologies, tools and approaches.
- Utilize the company’s Client
Relationship Management (CRM) system, continuously finding ways to leverage its
capabilities to support sales and business development efforts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum
of ten years of business development experience with professional service firms (mid-tier, boutique, or Big 4).
- Previous financial service consulting experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business,
Economics, Accounting with
a Master’s degree as a plus.
- Proven business development track
record; meeting both revenue targets and pipeline generation goals. Business
development experience through the entire cycle through contract award.
- Experience with corporate-level CRM
systems, and other related databases.
- Excellent verbal and written
communication skills.
- Ability to present and convey information that influences
others and drives action.
- Creative problem-solving ability and a
collaborative, consultancy mindset.
- Willingness
to travel a minimum of 50%.
